Imaging setup is now Stellarvue SVX140T, typically using their FFFR, imaging at 700mm f/5 at 1.77 arcseconds/pixel. Software Bisque Paramount MyT is the rock solid foundation for image aquisition, controlling the mount, camera, filter wheel, and focuser using TheSkyX. FeatherTouch Focus BossII 3.5″ focuser helps maintain sharp focus. My dream machine camera is the FLI ML16200 and FLICFW 5-7 color filter wheel, housing Chroma LRGB, and SII, Ha, OII narrowband filters at 8nm.
My home built power box. I use two 5 amp/hr EGO batteries, for a total of 560 watt hours of power. I can turn on a regulated 12 vdc bus, as well as a separate USB charger. Powering mount, Raspberry Pi 3, CCD camera, focuser, and dew heaters, this runs more than 10 hours…plenty for a night of remote observing!
