Low Country Stargazers : My first astronomy club! If you find yourself in the Charleston, SC area…get with this group! Lots of outreach with local schools and scout programs, as well as Astronomy in the Park in conjunction with the Charleston County Parks nature programs.
Back Bay Amateur Astronomers : in the Norfolk/Chesapeake/Virginia Beach, VA area. While the skies of Norfolk may not offer much, this club does! Very active group with deep ties to The Astronomical League. Plenty of outreach opportunities at the Botanical Gardens, Trash Fest, Tide Water Community College, and Chippokes State Park to name a few.
